The Rowing Series on the Universal Reformer
I’ve been teaching movement for over 15 years, and one thing has always stood out to me: it all starts with the feet. They’re our foundation, our connection to the ground, and the driving force behind posture, balance, and powerful, pain-free movement. Yet, in most fitness routines, they’re the part of the body that gets the least attention.
My own journey into foot health began personally — after decades of struggling with problematic feet, I learned firsthand just how much they influence the entire body. Professionally, my broad background in classical Pilates gave me a deep appreciation for functional movement and the role of precise footwork across the method. From the foot bar on the Reformer, the Toe Corrector, Foot corrector and Foot paddle on the Wunda Chair, the Pilates system kept showing me just how central the feet really are.
For more than 10 years, I’ve been leading foot-focused classes and workshops, helping people discover the transformational impact of training their feet first. Again and again, I’ve seen how stronger, more functional feet can unlock better alignment, freer movement, improved posture, and greater performance in every activity.
Today, I’m proud to call myself a Barefoot Training Specialist. My mission is simple: to give the feet the love and training they deserve, and to help people experience the incredible changes that come when you build movement from the ground up.
Because when your feet move better, everything moves better.
